Midwest Blind & Shade has been around for over 20 years. Our customers benefit. You can feel confident that we will guide you to great decisions for you and your home.
2 Showrooms. If you haven't shopped for window treatments lately, our showrooms are a must! Come have fun seeing all the latest and greatest. You will feel confident with your decision if you have operated full sized and mounted treatments. We have design books, Internet connections, and a talented staff that listens to guide you. If you need evening hours with your spouse-no problem! Just call us to arrange a good time.
In-Home Appointments. When you feel ready, we will come to your home or office with lots of samples and swatches. After enjoying a tour of your home, measuring your windows, discussing budgets, needs, and wants, our design consultants will present exactly what you are looking for. You can count on our staff to address finances, appropriate operating systems, security concerns, light control, insulation needs, and design. So, if you are ready, so are we!
Installation. A good fit is essential for a window treatment to perform as it should. We know what we're doing. Plus, we respect your home and clean up!
Repair Service. In this economy, we help our customers get the most out of what they have. It is quite common for one blind or shade to go before the rest of the room. A restring will allow you ample time to plan, repaint, etc before you are ready to buy new. We have arrangements with Hunter Douglas to repair their window treatments that are still under warranty. They warrant their cords for 7 years! If something happens, you no longer have to mail your window treatment back to Hunter Douglas. Just bring it to us.
We can fix about any treatment out there (if we can get parts).
About Pella Window between the glass shades: Pella does not make these themselves but subcontracts instead. Because of this, the parts are not consistent. We cannot get parts, but we can restring. If you need yours restrung, bring in the glass insert as well. This picture shows one restrung and ready to go back in the window.
